Next, using the horizontal woven into the vertical to examine the obstruction and opening of the contemplation entering provisionality from emptiness: this is easy to understand. Regarding the dharma of illness, the dharma of medicine, and the dharma of administering medicine—in each and every dharma, each and every subjective capacity, and each and every objective realm—clearly discern the truths, the links [of conditioned arising], and the perfections. If the three obstructions arise, break them to make them open; if there are the three openings, nurture them to bring them to completion. Then one surpasses the obstruction of ignorance and opens the four hundred yojanas.
