從「漸與不定」去，廣引證圓，先且簡二、次正引證。前已廣略二重解釋，今復引證，故曰「更明」。第二本中從此至佛法之恩並屬商略，今並迴為引證文也。舊商略名沒而不彰，良由此也。

From "Gradual and indeterminate" onward, it broadly cites proofs for the perfect: first setting aside the two, and next citing the proofs proper. Since there was already an extensive and an abbreviated double explanation earlier, it now further cites proofs, and so it says "to explain further." In the second version, the passage from here down to "the grace of the Buddha's Dharma" all belonged to the critical evaluation; here it has all been turned into the text of cited proofs. The reason why the old title of critical evaluation has disappeared and is not made explicit is truly due to this.
