Next is subsuming the six supernormal powers: this will be explained below in the meditation object when explaining the six supernormal powers. Where the Yingluo explains the name, saying "spirit refers to the natural mind, supernormal power refers to the nature of wisdom", natural wisdom penetrates and illuminates without obstruction; therefore it is named supernormal power. Pointing to the subjugation of the sense faculties for "eye, ear, and wish-fulfilling": according to whichever power it is, it points to entering whichever teaching's subjugation of the sense faculties. Pointing to the ten powers for the remaining three supernormal powers: knowledge of others' minds is the power of inclinations, and the remaining two share the same names. One should also, according to whichever exhaustion of contaminations one relies upon, know whichever knowledge of others' minds and past lives. There should also in all cases be a conclusion establishing the subsuming dharmas; that the text lacks it is due to brevity.
