"Just as a person at a crossroads
is confused and has nowhere to turn,
in the true mark of all phenomena,
doubt is also like this.
Because of doubt, one does not diligently seek
the true mark of all phenomena.
See that doubt arises from delusion;
it is the most evil of evils.
Among wholesome and unwholesome phenomena,
saṃsāra and Nirvāṇa,
there are definitely, truly real phenomena;
do not give rise to doubt among them.
If you harbor doubt,
you will be bound by the prison wardens of the King of Death,
like a deer seized by a lion,
unable to attain liberation.
Though having doubts while in the world,
one should rejoice in wholesome dharmas,
just as when looking at branching roads,
one should follow the beneficial and good one."
