答曰：因中說果故，隨分說故，頓教所明發心畢竟二不別故，以如是等眾多義故，菩薩所行禪定亦得名波羅蜜。

Answer: Because the fruit is spoken of within the cause, because it is spoken of according to one's measure, and because as explained in the sudden teaching the initial arousal of the mind and the ultimate [attainment] are not two or distinct—due to such numerous meanings, the dhyāna concentrations practiced by bodhisattvas also receive the name of pāramitā.
