四者、三歸得戒，于時未有羯磨，聞佛三說，即發戒品，以其根利故。
4. Obtaining the precepts through the three refuges: at that time there was not yet the karmavācanā procedure; upon hearing the Buddha recite them three times, they immediately generated the ranks of precepts because their faculties were sharp.
