2.7

第一、具五緣者：一、持戒清淨；二、衣食具足；三、閑居靜處；四、息諸緣務；五、得善知識。此是修禪五緣也。

First, "possessing the five conditions": 1. keeping the precepts pure; 2. possessing adequate clothing and food; 3. dwelling at ease in a quiet place; 4. putting an end to all affairs and involvements; 5. obtaining good spiritual friends. These are the five conditions for cultivating dhyāna.
