如是知已，當修慈忍，以除滅之，令心清淨，如《摩訶衍》中佛教弟子訶瞋偈，是中應廣說。
Having known this, one should cultivate loving-kindness and patience to eliminate it and make the mind pure, as detailed in the verses in the Mahāyāna [treatise] where the Buddha teaches his disciples to rebuke ill will, which should be explained at length here.
