答曰：言愚癡者，非謂如牛、羊等，但是人聰明利根，分別籌量，不得正慧，邪心取理，名為愚癡。愚癡之病既有三種，對治亦應立三：

Answer: Speaking of the deluded, it does not mean like oxen or sheep; rather, this person is intelligent and of sharp faculties, discerning and calculating, but does not attain correct wisdom, grasping at principles with a perverted mind—this is called delusion. Since the disease of delusion has three types, the counteractions should also be established as three:
