第二、明驗惡根性中，即有四意：一、先明煩惱數量；二、次明惡根性發；三、立對治法；四、結成悉檀，廣攝佛法。

Second, within clearly examining unwholesome dispositions, there are four points: first, to clarify the number of afflictions; second, next to clarify the manifestation of unwholesome dispositions; third, to establish the counteractive methods; fourth, to conclude with the siddhāntas, broadly subsuming the Buddhadharma.
