二、住分者，有人得初禪已，即不退失，定心安隱。住分亦有二種：一者、任運自住；二者、守護乃住。

Second, the stability category: when someone has attained the first dhyāna, they do not retrogress and lose it, and their absorbed mind is settled. The stability category also has two kinds: first, naturally remaining stable on its own; second, remaining stable only through guarding.
