6.34

一種慈相應心者，慈名心數法，能除心中憒濁，所謂瞋、恨、慳、貪煩惱。譬如淨水明珠置濁水中，水即澄清。

As for one type of mind accompanied by benevolence: benevolence is named a mental factor that can eliminate turbidity in the mind, namely the afflictions of anger, malice, stinginess, and greed. For example, when a water-clearing pearl is placed in turbid water, the water immediately becomes clear and pure.
