答曰：此但約義方便立支，非如四禪具足成就支林之法，故諸經論中並不說有支也。

Answer: This merely establishes factors provisionally according to meaning, and is not like the complete accomplishment of the dharma of factors and branches in the four dhyānas; therefore, the various sūtras and treatises do not speak of them as having factors.
