7.17

起觀分別亦有二種：一者、修觀；二者、與觀相應。一、修觀者，觀有三種：一者、慧行觀，觀真之慧；二者、得解觀，即假想觀；三者、實觀，如事而觀也。

Arising contemplation and discrimination also has two kinds: first, cultivating contemplation; second, corresponding with contemplation. First, cultivating contemplation: contemplation has three kinds: first, contemplation of the practice of wisdom, which is the wisdom that contemplates truth; second, contemplation of conceptual comprehension, which is contemplation through provisional imagination; third, actual contemplation, which is contemplating according to the facts.
