7.21

觀解既發，心緣觀境，分別破析，覺念流動，非真實道，爾時應當捨觀修還。還亦有二：一者、修習還；二者、與還相應。

Once contemplative understanding has arisen, the mind conditions the object of contemplation, discriminating and analyzing; realizing that thoughts are flowing and that this is not the true path, one should at that time abandon contemplation and cultivate turning back. Turning back also has two kinds: first, cultivating turning back; second, corresponding with turning back.
