第一、先釋約根本世間、出世間明覺大覺五支成初禪之相，即為二意：第一、先明初禪發相；第二、即釋成覺大覺五支差別之相。

First, explaining the marks of completing the first dhyāna through the five factors of vitarka and great vitarka based on the fundamental mundane and supramundane. This consists of two points: first, clarifying the manifestation of the first dhyāna; second, explaining the differentiating marks of completing the five factors of vitarka and great vitarka.
