次釋思惟、大思惟者，觀於心性之義，類如前說。是則略明約義世諦中辯初禪覺支之相，餘觀、喜、安、定等，亦當如是一一分別。

Next, explaining vicāra and great vicāra: the contemplation of the meaning of the nature of the mind is analogous to what was explained before. This is a brief clarification of analyzing the characteristics of the vitarka factor of the first dhyāna in terms of conventional truth according to conceptual meaning; the remaining factors of vicāra, prīti, sukha, and samādhi should also be individually differentiated in this way.
