次明空處，經言：「觀身厭患，遠離身相一切身觸、喜觸、樂觸，分別色相，遠離色陰，一心觀無量空處，是名比丘得空處定。」

Next, explaining the station of [infinite] space, the sūtra states: 'Contemplating the body with weariness and disgust, departing from bodily characteristics, all bodily sensations, sensations of prīti, and sensations of sukha, differentiating characteristics of form, departing from the form aggregate, and contemplating the station of infinite space with a unified mind—this is called a monk attaining the absorption of the station of [infinite] space.'
