9.81

八斷想、九離想、十盡想者，緣涅槃，斷煩惱結使，故名斷想；離結使故，故名為離想；盡諸結使，故名為盡想。

Eighth, the notion of severance; ninth, the notion of dispassion; tenth, the notion of cessation: Because they condition nirvāṇa and sever afflictive fetters, it is called the notion of severance; because they are detached from the fetters, it is called the notion of dispassion; because they bring an end to all fetters, it is called the notion of cessation.
