云何名為證旋轉解發相？行者於數息中，巧惠旋轉修習故，爾時或證深禪定，或證淺定。於此等定中，豁然心惠開發，旋轉覺識，解真無礙，不由心念，任運旋轉覺識法門。旋轉有二種：一者總相旋轉解，二者別相。總相復有二種：一者解真總相，二者解俗總相。別相復有二種：一者解真別相，二者解俗別相。於一總相法中，旋轉解一切法。別相亦爾。

What is called the mark of the arising of realizing revolving understanding? Because the practitioner cultivates with skillful wisdom in a revolving manner while counting breaths, at that time he may realize deep dhyāna absorption or realize shallow absorption. Within such absorptions, the mind's wisdom suddenly opens and unfolds, revolving in awareness and consciousness, understanding the real without hindrance, not relying on mental intention, spontaneously revolving in awareness and consciousness of the dharma gates. Revolving is of two kinds: first, revolving understanding of the universal characteristics; second, of the specific characteristics. The universal characteristics are again of two kinds: first, understanding the universal characteristics of the real; second, understanding the universal characteristics of the conventional. The specific characteristics are again of two kinds: first, understanding the specific characteristics of the real; second, understanding the specific characteristics of the conventional. Within a single universal characteristic of phenomena, one revolves in understanding all phenomena. It is the same for the specific characteristics.
