答：雖同而大異。何者？彼歷一切法，廣破一切迷執，不專破心辯心出一切佛法之知見，所以學者多失宗本。今明心是萬法之本，故句句約心而破，顯其心中圓具一切佛法，令識家中伏藏、衣中之寶，息其希求之勞，與彼論大異也。

Answer: Although they are the same, they are also greatly different. Why? That [treatise] traverses all dharmas, broadly refuting all delusional attachments, but it does not specifically refute the mind to discern the insight that all Buddha-dharmas issue from the mind; therefore, students often lose the fundamental core of the lineage. Now, [this treatise] clarifies that the mind is the root of the myriad dharmas, and therefore refutes line by line with reference to the mind, revealing that within the mind all Buddha-dharmas are completely endowed, causing them to recognize the hidden treasure in their home and the jewel in their clothing, and putting an end to the toil of their seeking outside. It is greatly different from that treatise.
