一、我。若於名、色、陰、入、界等法中無明不了，若即、若離中妄計有我、我所之實，故名我為也。

First is the self (ātman). If, regarding dharmas such as nāmarūpa, the skandhas, āyatanas, and dhātus, one is clouded by ignorance and not understanding, and falsely imputes the reality of a self and what belongs to a self either identical to or separate from them, it is therefore named the self.
