一、眼入。身分對色，能見色之處名眼。眼是四大造色，體為十色共成，所謂四大、四微、身根微、眼根微也。

First, the eye āyatana. The part of the body that faces form and has the capacity to see form is called the eye. The eye is form derived from the four great elements; its substance is jointly constituted by ten forms, namely the four great elements, the four subtle atoms, the subtle atom of the body faculty, and the subtle atom of the eye faculty.
