一初禪、二二禪、三三禪、四四禪、五空處、六識處、七無所有處、八非有想非無想處、九滅受想次第定。

First is the first dhyāna; second, the second dhyāna; third, the third dhyāna; fourth, the fourth dhyāna; fifth, the base of infinite space; sixth, the base of infinite consciousness; seventh, the base of nothingness; eighth, the base of neither-conceptualization-nor-non-conceptualization; ninth, the sequential meditative attainment of the cessation of feeling and conceptualization.
