Eighth is the ability to obtain all according to whatever one wishes. Through the power of transformation, one is able to make one body into many bodies, and many bodies into one body; pass through stone walls; walk on water and tread on space; touch the sun and moon with one's hands; and transmute the four great elements, turning earth into water, water into earth, fire into wind, wind into fire, stone into gold, and gold into stone. This is the ability to obtain all according to whatever one wishes. As for the eight autonomies explained in the Nirvāṇa [Sūtra], although there are slight differences, they are largely the same.
