次十力而辯四無所畏者，諸佛十力之智內充，明了決定，故對外緣而無恐也。故次十力辯之，意在易見。此四通名無所畏者，於八眾中廣說自他智斷，既決定無失，則無微致恐懼之相，故稱無所畏。

The reason why the four fearlessnesses are explained following the ten powers is that when the wisdom of the ten powers fills all buddhas within, clearly and decisively, they are without fear when confronting external conditions. Thus, they are explained following the ten powers so that the intent may be easily seen. That these four are all termed 'fearlessness' is because when broadly expounding one's own and others' knowledge and severance among the eight assemblies, since it is definitive and without fault, there is not the slightest sign of fear; hence, they are called 'fearlessness'.
