Second, bounding emergence from dhyāna. As for the lion's play emergence: rising from the attainment of the cessation of feeling and conceptualization, one returns to enter neither-conceptualization-nor-non-conceptualization; rising from neither-conceptualization-nor-non-conceptualization, one returns to enter the base of nothingness; in this manner through the base of consciousness, the base of space, the fourth, third, and second dhyānas, the first dhyāna, and up to emerging into the scattered mind. This is bounding emergence.
