Second, the divine ear superknowledge. As for cultivating the divine ear: if, in deep dhyāna attainment, pure derived form of the four great elements of the form realm arises and abides in the ear faculty, one can then hear the spoken words of sentient beings in the six destinies, as well as the various sounds in the world. This is the divine ear superknowledge.
