Fourth is embrace through identity of action. Using the Dharma-eye, the bodhisattva clearly sees the capacities and conditions of sentient beings. Therefore, wherever there are those who share the same inclinations, [the bodhisattva] multiplies their body and disperses their shadow, universally harmonizing with their light, sharing in their endeavors, and causing each to partake of benefit. Having skillfully identified with their actions, [sentient beings] thereby give rise to affection, rely [upon the bodhisattva], receive the path, and come to abide in nirvāṇa; therefore, benefiting beings through identity of action is called embrace.
