釋文為三：初、總敘立意，二、從一者去，列門解釋，三、是故十門訖文，結攝，重示此三即擬三分也。

The explanation of the text has three parts: first, a general account of the intention in establishing [the work]; second, from "First" onward, listing the gates and explaining them; third, concluding and summarizing from "Therefore the ten gates" to the end of the text. These three parts are intended to match the three divisions.
