初、約十門明理一。門門皆顯三千即空假中，十門既然，十妙亦爾，故云通入及理一也。

First, clarifying the oneness of principle in terms of the ten gates. Every gate reveals that the three thousand realms are emptiness, provisionality, and the middle. As it is with the ten gates, so it is with the ten subtleties; therefore it says thoroughly entering and that the principle is one.
