一明十信位者，即為四意：一明因聞法生信，二明因信修行，三明因行入位，四明經說不同。

Clarifying the stage of the ten faiths has four points: first, clarifying the arising of faith due to hearing the Dharma; second, clarifying cultivation due to faith; third, clarifying entering the stage due to practice; fourth, clarifying differences in sūtra expositions.
