次略明圓教者，圓名圓妙。《華嚴》法界廣大，《淨名》入不二法門，《般若》最上之乘，《涅槃》一心五行等，並圓妙法也。此等圓妙一理無他，兼帶半、滿，權覆於實，旨趣猶隱。

Next, to briefly clarify the perfect teaching: 'perfect' means perfectly wondrous. The vastness of the Dharma realm in the Avataṃsaka, entering the Dharma gate of non-duality in the Vimalakīrtinirdeśa, the supreme vehicle in the Prajñāpāramitā, the one mind and five practices in the Nirvāṇa, and so forth are all perfectly wondrous teachings. These perfectly wondrous teachings are of one principle and nothing else; yet because they concurrently carry the half and full, and the expedient conceals the real, their purport remains hidden.
