問：此經具四教，與前方等部具說四教為同為異？答：名同義異。方等中四，圓則初後俱知常，別則初不知、後方知；藏、通則初後俱不知；涅槃中四，初後俱知。

Question: This sutra possesses the four teachings; is this identical to or different from the previous Vaipulya division fully expounding the four teachings? Answer: The names are identical, but the meaning is different. Among the four in the Vaipulya, in the perfect [teaching] they know permanence both at first and later; in the distinct, they do not know at first and only know later; in the Tripitaka and shared, they do not know either at first or later. In the four of the Nirvāṇa, they know both at first and later.
