此法正依龍樹毘婆沙，傍潤諸經意。於一日一夜，存略適時。朝午略敬禮用所為三，晡用敬禮略所為。初夜全用，午時十佛代中夜，後夜普禮。

This ritual is based directly on Nāgārjuna's Vibhāṣā, supplemented by the intent of various sūtras. Throughout a single day and night, it maintains brevity according to the appropriate time. In the morning and at noon, reverent bowing is abbreviated, serving three purposes; in the late afternoon, reverent bowing is used while the purpose is abbreviated. In the first period of the night, it is used in full; at noon, the Ten Buddhas substitute for the middle period of the night; in the last period of the night, there is universal bowing.
