秋氣凄冷，願安樂行耳。弟子寡末，未能治道，願欲延屈方憑開導。今遣左右陳文強往，悉其一二。弟子陳伯智和南。八月十日。

"The autumn air is chilling; I hope your practice is peaceful and joyous. Your disciple is meager and lacking, unable to govern the Way, and wishes to invite you so as to rely on your guidance. I now dispatch my attendant Chen Wenqiang to go and explain the details. Your disciple Chen Bozhit prostrates himself. Tenth day of the eighth month."
