喜次書。適奉南嶽信，山眾平安。弟子有答具述甲乙，後信來當有音外也。今奉寄牋香二片，熏陸香二觔，檳榔三百子。不能得多，示表，心勿責也。弟子毛喜和南。

Xi's Next Letter. I have just received news from Nanyue; the mountain assembly is safe and well. This disciple has replied, setting forth the details; when later letters arrive, there should be further word. I now respectfully send two pieces of letter-paper incense, two jin of frankincense, and three hundred betel nuts. Being unable to obtain much, these merely express my heart; please do not find fault. The disciple Mao Xi bows with folded hands.
