問：仁執色心門明內觀對實相觀，內外門明外觀對唯識觀，且《義例》實相、唯識二觀，既且約內心修之，則二觀俱在色心門，豈非內外門全不明觀法耶？

Question: You insist that the Gate of Form and Mind explains internal contemplation, correlating it with the contemplation of true reality, and that the Gate of Internal and External explains external contemplation, correlating it with consciousness-only contemplation. Furthermore, since the two contemplations of true reality and consciousness-only in Yili are both cultivated with reference to the internal mind, then both contemplations reside in the Gate of Form and Mind; does this not mean that the Gate of Internal and External does not explain the method of contemplation at all?
