問：若言觀內心理具，雖攝外境事造，不妨修外觀時的就外境事造，觀之顯理。若爾者，正合予之所立，非初作觀便觀依正諸法及未涉二修事相，何頻妄破耶？

Question: If you say that contemplating the internal mind's inherent principle, although encompassing external phenomenal creation, does not prevent one, when cultivating external contemplation, from precisely approaching external phenomenal creation and contemplating it to manifest principle: if that is so, it exactly accords with what I have established—that when initially undertaking contemplation one does not immediately contemplate all dharmas of circumstantial and primary conditioning, and that it has not yet engaged the phenomenal characteristics of the two cultivations. Why did you repeatedly and falsely refute it?
