問：大師說此十法開解之後即合策眾觀心，故有觀法，章安制《大經玄義》，既非對眾，時節又艱，但宣教義，託後師氏。比望餘部示人，學者因茲諳練，豈是自尋諸部耶？

Question: After the Great Master taught these ten dharmas to open up understanding, it was appropriate to urge the assembly to contemplate the mind, and therefore there were contemplation methods. When Zhang'an composed the Dajing xuanyi, since it was not face-to-face with an assembly and times were difficult, he merely proclaimed the doctrinal meanings and entrusted them to later masters. Compared to other works shown to people, practitioners thereby became familiar and practiced; how could they search through the various texts on their own?
