然內觀合有三觀亡照及觀成相，外觀合有妙解先了萬法唯色之言。蓋綺文互映，故互闕也。況外觀中全無攝外法歸內心之言，而自云帝網依正，豈外色不具三千、不具內心耶？

However, internal contemplation ought to have the nullifying and illuminating of the threefold contemplation and the characteristics of accomplishment, while external contemplation ought to have wondrous understanding and the statement of first comprehending that the ten thousand dharmas are matter-only. Because the exquisite texts reflect each other, they are mutually omitted. Furthermore, in external contemplation there is no mention whatsoever of gathering external dharmas back into the internal mind, yet it naturally speaks of the environment and body of Indra's net; could external matter not possess the three thousand, and not possess the internal mind?
