上人莫將此見便為正觀之心否？擬將此心歷事法而修觀耶？須知此等殊非正解、殊非正觀。如此看尋《止觀》，有何等益？

Could it be that the Superior takes this view to be the mind of right contemplation? Do you intend to take this mind and apply it to phenomenal teachings to cultivate contemplation? You must know that these are by no means right understanding, nor are they right contemplation. What benefit is there in examining and perusing the Zhiguan like this?
