端拱元年戊子　師聽讀寶雲十載，即值本講歸寂。《石塔記》云：通公壽六十二，端拱元年傾逝，（知禮、遵式）子衿之高者。

First year of Duangong, wuzi. The Master had studied at Baoyun for ten years when his lecturer passed into stillness. The Stone Stupa Inscription says: 'Master Tong lived to sixty-two and passed away in the first year of Duangong; (Zhili and Zunshi) were the most eminent of his students.'
