二年癸亥　是年仁宗皇帝即位，改天聖元年。是年製《光明拾遺記》。紀云：天聖元年四月望日序。師又為潘屯田作夢魚跋。又出《問幃試問》四十二章考試學子。又答禪宗泰師佛法十問。

Second year, guihai: In this year, Emperor Renzong ascended the throne and changed the reign title to the first year of Tiansheng. In this year, the Master composed the Guangming shiyi ji (Record of Gleanings on the Suvarṇaprabhāsa Sūtra). The record states: 'Prefaced on the full moon day of the fourth month of the first year of Tiansheng.' The Master also wrote a colophon on the 'Dream of the Fish' for Tun-tian [Official] Pan. Furthermore, he issued the Wenwei shiwen (Test Questions from the Inquiring Curtain) in forty-two sections to examine his students. He also answered the ten questions on the Buddha Dharma posed by Chan Master Tai.
