從今已往，稱佛為師，更不歸依邪魔外道。惟願三寶哀憐攝受，慈憫故（三說）。
"From this day forward, I acknowledge the Buddha as my master and will never again take refuge in demonic and non-Buddhist ways. May the Three Jewels have pity and take me in, out of their compassionate mercy" (spoken three times).
