又問曰：十六觀中既無推理之語，疏文隨釋不示三觀之言，是則三觀釋名、四土顯體，乃是開乎圓解而已。至于歷境修觀，且只想於事境，託乎繫念生彼樂邦，既獲阿鞞，何患不至寂光實報。一家製立，豈出乎解行二門。

Question: In the sixteen contemplations, there are no words about inferring the principle, and the Commentary's sequential explanations do not present terms of the threefold contemplation. Thus, explaining the title by the threefold contemplation and revealing the substance by the four lands merely opens up perfect understanding. As for passing through the objective realms to cultivate contemplation, one should simply visualize the phenomenal realms and, relying on continuous mindfulness, be born in that Land of Bliss. Once avaivartika is attained, why worry about not reaching the Light of Quiescence and Real Retribution? Does the formulation established by our school ever depart from the two gates of understanding and practice?
