照者方照（圓融照者方乃照之），非說可窮（著字而說，不可窮也。此以實證而斥虛說）。

'Only one who illuminates can illuminate' (only one whose illumination is perfectly interfused can truly illuminate it), 'yet this cannot be exhausted by explanation' (explaining while attached to words cannot exhaust it; this uses actual realization to rebuke empty words).
