答：言不頓舒，文似次第。文雖次第，意實圓融。文似次第者，為對破三惑故，先空次假後中。意實圓融者，良由行人修之，乃舉一即三，非前非後。故云：說時非行時。即茲意也。

Answer: Words cannot be expressed all at once, so the text appears sequential. Although the text is sequential, the intention is truly interfused. That the text appears sequential is because, in order to refute the three delusions correspondingly, emptiness comes first, then the conventional, and then the middle. That the intention is truly interfused is because, when practitioners cultivate it, bringing up one is immediately all three, with neither earlier nor later. Thus it is said: 'The time of explanation is not the time of practice.' This is precisely what it means.
