四問：欽聞諸佛果上凡所證法，一切眾生悉具有之。今且就人中以論因中，如何辨於三明八解、五眼六通，乃至毛吞巨海、芥納須彌等用耶？若言至佛果方得者，本有之義又何述焉？

Fourth question: We have respectfully heard that all dharmas realized by the buddhas in the resultant stage are fully possessed by all sentient beings. Now considering the causal stage within the human realm, how do we discern the applications of the three vidyās and eight liberations, the five eyes and six supernormal knowledges, and even swallowing the great ocean with a single hair or containing Mount Sumeru in a mustard seed? If you say these are attained only upon reaching the fruit of buddhahood, how can the meaning of original possession be maintained?
