（宗曉纘錄天童四明之書，秖得五番。準草菴，既曰凡二十許，果堙沒不少。其顯禪師茶牓之類，並已無聞。凡閱此書者或有，此幸見贈，以全之）。

(When Zongxiao compiled and recorded the letters of Tiantong and Siming, he only obtained five exchanges. According to Cao'an, since he said there were about twenty in all, quite a few have indeed been lost. Items like Master Xian's tea placard have likewise ceased to be heard of. If any reader of this book happens to possess them, I would be fortunate if they were presented to me so as to make it complete.)
